Some of you might be interested in an application that claims to be able to move text among these, three environments.  I haven’t tried it myself, so can’t vouch for its reliability or capabilities, but it is free.  Find it at

By the way, I think this is the right place to post a reminder pointer to the excellent Simidude http://www.agynamix.de/products/simidude/ a cross-platform clipboard for Windows, Linux and Mac (I use it among the first two and am infinitely pleased) that has been discussed here in the past.
