Does anyone remember a long discontinued Windows outliner that was quite expensive and marketed primarily to lawyers? Not EccoPro or anything like that. Just an outliner. I think the company that acquired it was Lexis Nexis.

Thank you for your help.

A blast from the past. I had high-hopes for Notemap, but alas it never really seemed to gain traction.

No, it didn’t. I guess because it was marketed to lawyers, it was expensive for the time. PC-Outline was also a very good outline lost in the mists of he past.

Wasn’t familiar with the app, did a quick search and discovered it was a product of Lexis-Nexis and disappeared a decade ago.

But in my serach I came across a new (to me at least) Mac mind-mapping app with that name and domain. It looks solid, supports linked notes, attachments, Markdown and has optional AI integration. Pricing is $30, but there’s a generous permanent free tier. Maps export to formats like Markdown, PDF, HTML, and OPML.
