I wonder how other folks transitioning from Pocket, (the web page saver its developer Mozilla is shutting down) transitioning to Readwise Reader? I chose to go with Reader based on what others have said, and because what I experienced on my phone and tablet, made it seem the best option.
So…Reader works well on my Android phone and tablet, but I cannot figure out how to get it to function on my Windows laptop - in other words, after trying everything I can think of it, I can’t get it to show up in the share menu or figure out any other way to save web pages to Reader, whether on Chrome (my main browser) Firefox, or DuckDuckGo.
I have tried to find the answer among the Readwise Reader help pages but to no avail. No problems on my Android devices as I say, but can’t get it to work after hours of trying to figure it out. I am sure I am missing what may be a fairly basic step. Since the last time I was here with transitioning problems I have looked at using Zotero, while keeping my existing saved web pages on Reader, which functions well with what is already saved.
Any help or suggestions are much appreciated. Many thanks.

You need this Chrome extension:
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/readwise-highlighter/jjhefcfhmnkfeepcpnilbbkaadhngkbi
Then you just click on the extension icon while viewing an article and the article should be added to Reader. See instructions here:

(I think there are extensions for other browsers, but I have only tested with the Chrome extension.)
