I thought it was funny that he said he had tried *all* the TODO apps, then listed ~5. There must be at least 100s and possibly 1000s.

Most of which we proud CRIMPers have experimented with… ;-)
Personally, I’ve stuck with Obsidian. But TickTick is also a very powerful all-platform solution (and does most of what Todoist does, too).

I don’t use TickTick but I’ve found that it and Todoist roughly have feature parity and they often seem to be leapfrogging each other in features.
Adam Engst of the long-running Tidbits.com site has been grieving the ‘moribund’ state of his longtime choice of todo app, Sorted. He’s been looking for alternatives and a couple of days ago posted a very positive writeup of TickTick, with screenshot examples.

TickTick’s premium plan is $36/yr and Todoist’s is $48/yr, but I’m grandfathered in on $29/yr pricing so it doesn’t look like I’m going anywhere (aside from my use of Apple’s free Reminders app).
