SCAN-Smart Content Aggregation and Navigation-Anyone out there try it?

I found a reference to this software out on the network somewhere. It is an open source project at Sourforge: http://scan.sourceforge.net/

It looks quite interesting. It is cross-platform, though apparently it is Java on Mac and Linux, and native on Windows. It looks like it would be a very useful program.

Anybody out there using it and can tell us how well it works?

No, Windows version is the same Java, but packed into standard EXE installer for convenience.

I tried it both on Windows and Linux and it works quite well as a personal document organizer/desktop search engine. I am particularly impressed by its textmining and tag suggestion features. Search the files by similarity is also very useful.

I was surprised also that it works quite fast for Java.
