What's up with Brainstorm

A few weeks ago someone on this forum provided a link to a short Twitter announcement from David Tebbut of Brainstorm saying he’d sold the program to another company. However, there has yet to be any announcement on the Brainstorm web site or Thinklog forum. In fact, the web site still lists Marck and David as involved:

[quote]
Who’s responsible for what?
Marck and David worked together on design and overall strategy. Marck programmed Brainstorm while David developed the website and the documentation. BC4, Inc. is responsible for the business and communication.
[endquote]

I find this highly unusual, as David always seemed a good communicator. And it sort of scares me if the new owner is supposed to be responsible for communication and here it is three months later and no word!

Does anyone know anything more about this and the future of Brainstorm?

Thanks!

Steve Z.

That was me. Why don’t you just Twitter or email David and see what he says?

The website remains more or less the same, with the exception of the Contact Us page http://www.brainstormsw.com/contact.html which is clear enough:

Brainstorm Software, Inc
18340 Lake Drive
Monument, CO, 80132 USA
Or leave a message: 719-302-5396

There may be several reasons why the rest of the website doesn’t yet reflect the change of ownership. Don’t forget that the change has coincided with a period of significant turmoil in the US which is not over yet.

I used the contact information on the web page to send an e-mail to the new owner. He responded and sounds as if he is looking for input to help determine the future of Brainstorm.

Anyway, I just wanted to make this update so you all know that Brainstorm definitely has a pulse.
