Apropos of current discussion in another thread on the use of file tagging software, there’s a program called Benubird Pro on Bits du Jour today.

I know nothing of the program, but perhaps someone else can offer a better assessment than I can. The description reads:

“Benubird Pro is optimized for use with PDFs, images, Microsoft Office documents, and Open Office documents. You can easily export files to a password protected .zip archive; you can quickly import files and create “collections”, a type of virtual file that will eliminate all those pesky duplicate files that are filling up your hard drive. Benubird Pro also features a powerful tagging system so you can quickly describe files in plain English and find them using that very same logic.”
