To capture web data I use a combination of Surfulater, scrapbook (Firefox) and ClipCache.
However, I’d still love to download complete websites to my HDD. A backup copy, in case all else fails ;)
Mac users have SiteSucker—> http://www.sitesucker.us/home.html
I couldn’t find a Windows alternative. I Googled and discovered that back in the days of Windows 95/98 there was a software called SiteSnagger. There was also one called NetSpider. I wish I could supply better links, but here’s a PCMag page about SiteSnagger: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,22003,00.asp

I wonder if anybody used/still using these oldies to capture complete websites, and whether there’s a modern Windows alternative for SiteSucker?

Cheers,
Cady.
