In my view it’s more comparable to a wiki than ‘traditional’ note-taking software. My remarks:

- The clever hyperlinking bit about it, is that once you create a note, its title becomes a ‘wikiword’; thereon, each time you write it in a note it will be recognised and automatically become a link to the original note. There are two other programs that I know offer similar functionality: ZuluPad Pro (http://www.gersic.com/zulupad/) and Brainstorm (http://www.brainstormsw.com/).

- The price of USD249 seems to me completely unjustifiable, whereas the BdJ offer of USD20 seems much more reasonable for the functionalities offered. For comparison, ZuluPad is priced at USD15 and Brainstorm at USD40.

- By its own account, PpcSoft iKnow saves everything in a text file, which is useful to avoid software lock-in of your data, but I’m not sure how well it will cope when one has thousands of notes.
