I HAVE NO TROUBLE WITH ZIP FILES.  TO EXTRACT, RIGHT CLICK ON THE FILE AND CHOOSE “EXTRACT.”  TO ZIP A FILE YOU NEED A SPECIAL PROGRAM.  THERE ARE MANY FREE ONES.  USE GOOGLE TO SEARCH FOR “ZIP PROGRAMS.”

ULTRA RECALL WAS VERY POPULAR UNTIL DEVELOPERS SAID THEY WERE AT LEAST TEMPORARILY (POSSIBLY PERMANENTLY) DISCONTINUING DEVELOPMENT.  MANY HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN BURNED BY PAYING FOR AN ADM PROGRAM UPDATE THAT NEVER APPEARED.  THEN THE DEVELOPERS DISAPPEARED.

Well, I see now that IQ

BEST TO START WITH A SIMPLER ONE,  KEYNOTE, NOW DISCONTINUED, IS A FREE ONE.  JOT PLUS IS PARTICULARLY EASY TO USE BUT IS NOT FREE.

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THIS FORUM BEGAN VERY MANY YEARS AGO, SO MOST PARTICIPANTS ARE OLD TIMERS AND MAY NOT REALIZE THAT A NEW PARTICIPANT IS UNFAMILIAR WITH PIMS.
