LinkStash is an excellent bookmarks manager that works with IE, Firefox and Opera (the reason I originally chose it). The latest build has added experimental support for Google Chrome. It has been discussed here in the past. It is the product of the same developer as ClipCache.

I have been using LinkStash for years and, frankly, I wish there were more programs like it: stable, fast, unintrusive, does what it says with minimal memory footprint and the processor probably doesn’t know it’s there. It can be ran from a USB stick so that you can carry your bookmarks everywhere. Given its power and minimal resource use, it often makes me wonder what ‘contemporary’ bloatware really does.

The only thing I miss are cloned items, i.e. available in more than one folders (though I am unaware of any bookmark manager that boasts such a feature), but one can work around it with tags.
