Intriguing new task-management software

I’ve now used The Hit List beta for a few days, and it’s potentially a very nice piece of software, lacking some important functionality and still prone to crashing occasionally.

I like Omnifocus quite a lot, but I don’t spend my working time chasing Next Actions and have not much need to spend effort working out to what extent a list of tasks is sequential or parallel. What would be ideal would be a Mac equivalent of Achieve Planner. But that doesn’t seem to exist - unless I’ve missed it?
