BYOK app

I had never heard of the BYOK gadget before. An interesting concept, but I feel like it is redundant to a smart phone or tablet. Yes, it is “distraction free,” but I’ve always felt that when I’m writing, I’m in a zone and not prone to distractions. Who knows, however. Maybe a device like that would make me a more productive writer. Depending on the final price tag, I may take a chance on it.

As for the writing app, that looks very promising. I used to be leery of cloud-storage apps, but I have not had any issues with it, and I find knowing I can access my writing (or info, or whatever) from anywhere I can get on the Internet to be reassuring. Of course, a convenient and reliable way to make local backups is crucial.
