This looks interesting, the other comparisons are certainly valid but it also reminds me of something like Mindly but in a list-based, more space efficient format. I think simplicity and elegance are the main benefits here, kind of like Clear for to do lists.

Maybe this app would be good for laying down the main bones for a new project or brainstorming on the go, and then continuing in more detail in a more traditional PIM or outliner.
