The Ultimate (CRIMP) Steal

I don’t know what this says about Microsoft’s sales of Office 2007, but the company is extending a promotion of its Ultimate Edition, rightly called the Ultimate Steal. Students and staff of academic institutions—at least in the US and UK, and I imagine elsewhere—are elligible for a single copy of the program each (downloadable, with optional DVD) at the hard to believe price of $60!

I stress that this is not the academic version of the software, but the full blown professional package, including Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook / Onenote / Access / Infopath / Groove / Publisher and Accounting Express, with no limitations of use whatsoever mentioned in the terms and conditions. Now I now why I witheld the CRIMP in me for so long and avoided registering OnNote.
