A long overdue update for Outline

Ah, bad news there, I’m afraid: Keep It is now subscription – in fact, two subscriptions, because you need a separate one for the Mobile version.

Growly Notes is still free as a bird, fortunately. And a very nice, tightly programmed piece of software it is! Although, alas, he abandoned the mobile version (lack of take-up, I believe).

Counting up one’s subscriptions is a worthwhile exercise, as it happens – I’ve wiped quite a lot of money off mine after realising they had crept into the silly-money zone. It’s a shame to do away with certain amazing apps, but if you’re not using them much, it simply doesn’t make sense to keep them.

But I do keep notes on any apps I stop subscribing to, just in case they become the CRIMPer’s Ultimate Dream (the CRUMP?) at some point in the future… {sigh}
