Edraw Max offered by Giveaway of the Day

WARNING: The software that was offered yesterday and the day before by GiveawayoftheDay may have contained spyware or viruses. At least that is what several people said in the comments section. In view of this, it has been suggested that all offerings from this site be scanned for viruses and spyware AND that one review the comments section to see if anyone has reported malware. Also Google the product name to see if any reputable testing sites have reviewed the product.

I have just run Kaspersky Internet Security on Edraw Max. It found no viruses. I am currently running a spyware scan (PC Tools Spyware Doctor, free version) and will let you know the result. (I have to scan the entire hard disk using this, free version.)

I have installed several programs from GiveawayoftheDay without problem. Once before, Kaspersky warned of possible malicious activity and I stopped the installation. It may have been OK, but I didn’t chance it.
