As far as I can tell, this is real but misleading. It’s a “lifetime license” for the 2021 version of Microsoft Office. It does *not* appear to cover subsequent version upgrades. So “lifetime license” simply means a one-time purchase of the current version, which is how almost all software purchases used to work. In the current climate of subscriptions, it strikes me as misleading to say “lifetime license”, because it gives the impression of being a lifetime subscription (which would typically include upgrades).
