Any other outliner that works nicely with HDD folders?

Hi!
I wonder if there is an outliner that allows HDD folders to be part of the notes structure/tree in such a way that when files change in the HDD folder, the changes are reflected in the outliner’s notes structure as well.
I know that Ultra Recall does it (File/Import folder/...Don’t import files). I know that MyBase does not do it (it can capture folder creating links to the files, but any further changes in the folder are not reflected in the database). I don’t know about InfoQube yet. I would love to see how anybody else does it… that is if there is any other software that does it.
Any idea, pls?
