I decided not to upgrade to DT3 and instead purchased Foxtrot Pro Search. I haven't looked back. I don't need mobile databases and was using DT more as a searchable repository. For this criteria I'm really happy with the setup. I'm now using Scansnap's own software to scan and am not having any issues with it.
