An interesting, if motley assortment. Article misspelled Joplin, which resulted in the question here about ‘Joblin.’

And these apps don’t really do folding or outlining.
The first app listed, Typora, is a really good Markdown editor for macOS but it’s been a version 0.9x for literally years, constantly incrementing without reaching v1.0 (which the developers have stated will be when they start charging for it.) But there are so many Markdown apps these days, including syncable ones like FSNotes, which is an open-source project with apps in the MAS and the iOS App Store, for pretty cheap. (Or you could build your own from Github.)
