Ah, I see what you’re saying. I didn’t realize how different that one preference selection has on the action of the tasks. So, basically, deselecting “Only add date when scheduling in notes” makes the following behavior:
When you write a task in a general (project) note, then set a date for it, Noteplan forwards a copy of the task onto the calendar note you chose with a wiki link back to the general note. You can now edit the task in the calendar note, including rescheduling it. BUT, the reschedule does not appear in the original notation in the general note. That is confusing. I bet that is not intentional. I’ll email Eduard and see what he says.
