I’ll admit that some days I check the iOS App Store and the Mac App Store hoping that a major new release of something has magically appeared. There’s always a tinge of sadness when the release notes say “the usual bug fixing” or so. I would have no way of explaining to my Welsh mining ancestors 200 years ago why “playing with new software” can be endlessly entertaining. They would have me in chains in an instant!
