Hi and thanks for reading my post!

I am considering buying TheJournal by http://www.davidrm.com/thejournal. It seems to do all I need, but before I commit, I wonder whether there might be something better (for Windows) out there. So far, to my surprise, I found nothing even remotely that good (considering my needs). The one app that came close was RedNotebook (https://rednotebook.sourceforge.io/).

What I need is a calendar with one loose page for each day-something like the bottom two screenshots here: http://www.davidrm.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/TJ8-Themes.png

I don’t need the type of calendar where you assign tasks to specific times of a day e.g. like in Calendarscope (https://www.calendarscope.com/screenshots/img/cs_scr_dayview_menu_b.png)

Also for tasks not specific to a single day, I would like to use some tree node structure. TheJournal does this very well as shown here: http://www.downloadatoz.com/_imgbank/home-education/davidrm-software-s-the-journal/1151043355.gif
Please note, that the tree node (on the screenshot) only refers to the one tab which is activate on the right. Each of the other tabs has its own node tree. You can have multiple rows of tabs and they can switch you to another set of tabs! It works very well!!!
What TheJournal lacks is multi-parenting (one tree node attached to any number of other tree nodes). I just bought Ultra Recall and I am ecstatic about how well multi-parenting works in a database. Then I may not really need it that much in the calendar app. I would love it though :-)

Did anybody perhaps notice an app that would do what I need (see above) and maybe do it better than TheJournal, pls?

Many thanks in advance for any kind help!

Best regards,
karel
