Black Friday/Cyber Monday --- Any Outliner PIM Software Deals?

Sounds like a terrible promotion, unless you’re already a big-time user of Standard Note. I’d gladly blow $15 on an annual subscription for software that seems promising, but a five-year deal sounds like the developer needs cash, and needs it now. Once he gets it, and the months and years go by without further income from his new subscriber base, will he have the motivation to update and enhance the software?
