I agree. In fact, I’m myself underusing Merlin, as I have no need for the Resources and the Costs features. I really bought it for visual planning of projects with Gantt . I think there is a market indeed for simpler and cheaper ( both Merlin and Omniplan are over 200€ ) Project Management software.
Ironically, just after posting, I went to ProjectWizard’s page to discover , much to my horror, that they might be switching to a subscription plan… That’s a no-no for me.
