Yes. Based on years of using Ecco to do things no other software still cannot do, I’ve found that filters are useless to me without parents and children.

When I look at filtered results, the parents give me the context I need to understand where this item fits in the larger scheme of things. And the children are items that expand the information of the item. Other users’ mileage may vary, but for me, without those things, I can’t use the app.
