I meant what I said. Regardless of context, the reference is offensive. We discuss writing, note taking, outlining, and other forms of software (and techniques) in this forum. Perhaps others disagree, but I feel that there is no place for this type of reference here (or anywhere, but I am addressing this group). I understand that it may have been written with humor, but you have a wide audience who come from diverse backgrounds.

I have been through Europe many times. Eastern Europe too. I have seen swastikas in the countryside in many of these places (and occasionally in the urban areas). That says a lot.

Where I come from, appealing to relationships one has (“A couple of my friends are black/German/Jewish”) as proof of not possessing bias is regarded as just the opposite.
