I have reported the above issue, and CrossOver support got back to me within a matter of a few days with the following response, so bug reports get acted on very quickly:
“It looks like this application needs some additional software dependencies in order to run properly in Crossover. I have updated our Crosstie recipe to fix this issue on Crossover Linux and it should apply to Crossover ChromeOS as well. This recipe will be updated in the next release of Crossover on the Play Store and then that feature should work.”
