I Beta tested, too, and found the iOS product very useful. Over the past couple of weeks or so I have tended to reach for it when noodling something.
Is it more useful than Editorial? Editorial, to my mind, is what you describe here: Bear with folding. Editorial is a clean, markdown environment with a lot of great touches to move things around, export in useful formats, and even plan things in a TaskPaper format. So there’s some duplication of functions between Outlinely and Editorial. What is the real difference: it might come down to the look on the screen (outliner versus text editor) and the presence of functions you use most often. Editorial, though, I only had to buy once.
