Evernote Killing off Clearly and Skitch

I find that, increasingly, I use Evernote because it clips well, and I can get it on all my devices.

Evernote’s success has attracted millions, some of whom, like myself, subscribe.

The software has three weaknesses:
* Current tagging system is a step backward from what Evernote had in version 2, and should be restored to the original.
* Lack of metadata capability beyond the most basic.
* Evernote Windows waste landscape at the top, thus compromising a great feature - namely the ability to have a number of windows open simultaneously.

So far, EN has stayed synced for me, and is therefore convenient as a central storage container.

With the various cuts at EN, I wonder if it the company is being made to look more attractive for a possible takeover.. If that is the case, and even if it’s not, I hope management soon starts taking a serious look at the program’s weaknesses, and the needs people have to manage their information.
