Last year, I tried out all the software I could find that would do dynamic scheduling. I used A&B and TT for a while, but neither one of them seemed to schedule things the way I wanted, and neither one integrated well with my other PIM tools.
I ended up using Taskline, and I am completely happy with and addicted to it. I would put it on my top 5 software tools.
You may not like taskline, because it is an Outlook plugin. I too wanted a standalone product, but once I started using Taskline I realized the benefits of the Outlook plugin. First, you get all Outlook functionality for free - like grouping, categories, drag and drop emails, etc. Second, taskline schedules your tasks right into your Outlook calendar or into a new Outlook calendar, and it takes into account your fixed calendar entries. So, unlike in A&B, if I have a busy week next week, Taskline will realize that and will schedule less tasks for me. Regenerating your taskline schedule deletes and recreates these calendar entries.
