I do not have any experience with Inquiry, and, in fact, never heard of it until you mentioned it here. I’m sure you checked out the little video demonstration at the web site. If the software performs as advertised, it looks as if it does a fine job capturing and organization web pages. But it also looks as if it does nothing else. It will be interesting to see if anyone has hands-on experience with Inquiry, and what they think of it.

For me, it raises this question: Is it really so critical that web content be captured in such a way that the pages are reproduced as they appear on the web? In my experience, the answer is no. Most often all I really need is the text—and Zoot is superb at this. Perhaps in 20 percent of the cases, I would like one or more graphics that are part of the web site… in which case, I grab these in OneNote. In fact, I can’t think of one instance where I need the page reproduced as is… in most cases this would include a lot of junk… banner ads, extraneous links, disclaimers, etc…. that just take up space on my hard disk. How do others feel about this issue? Inquiring minds want to know.
