Slartibartfarst: You seem to be right.
That’s interesting. MBAM’s real-time web protection usually tells you when it is blocking an IP address - e.g., 81.177.6.172, which is the IP address of the website leadertask.com/.
However, MBAM is blocking - but doesn’t tell me - that the URL http://leadertask.com/ is blocked, though it does tell me - when I type it into any browser’s address bar - that 81.177.6.172 is blocked.
I have now accessed it by making it an exception (allowed) in MBAM.
I have yet to find MBAM blocking a site that wasn’t dodgy (i.e., with a well-earned reputation for being dodgy), so am treating leadertask.com with some caution - e.g., I’m not sure I’d want put a financial transaction through such a website.
This might just be one interesting PIM I’d feel safer avoiding.
