Tabbles is a file manager which relies on tagging. Its recent version integrates with Explorer and Outlook.

Tabbles has some powerful features and, as far as I understand, it fits under the Advanced category of tagging programs. That said, there are some rough edges, notably the need to install Microsft SQL server locally; the alternative is to use a hosted online SQL solution which will probably slow down local access.
