Thanks Wojciech. It turns out this is a free offering from Bad Wolf Software (makers of SmartEdit and PageFour), a simplified version of a new editor they are working on.

I’m greatful to BWS for releasing this for free. But as this runs on Microsoft .Net 4, I found the start-up time rather slow on my 2GB-RAM Win XP netbook. I also wish they had added a full-screen distraction-free writing mode.

But as they make it clear, they won’t be responding to requests for improvements. This is more of a freebie to promote their other software.
