That’s part of the Evernote logic. With a smartphone, you can take the photo straight from within Evernote and give it a relevant title. The name of the class should be enough. Class + date of note are sufficient to classify the photo. And if the text is in a language supported by Evernote, words from the whiteboard will be OCR’d and indexed—and this works surprisingly well. All in all, much better than the average student’s notes.

Of course, the ideal would be for one to go through the photo notes the same day and add any relevant annotation. This would help both to better remember the content, and to be able to make sense of it in the future.
