Scrivener for Windows stability

I have heard of some stories of data loss on various forums (including Scrivener’s) and I’m a bit spooked. I have used Scrivener for Windows (I have version 1.0.3) for several months on a daily basis and have written on it a great deal. It worked perfectly for me and I have no reasons to slight the software. However, I simply can’t risk losing any of my data and because of that fear I stopped using it. Does anyone here have an insight into this or had lost data?
