soonr.com); she’s done us a deal, in fact.

There are a number of things I like about Soonr (full-text search through files, synchronisation with local folders, powerful editor for mobiles), but one thing in particular is the access flexibility: you can have full “members” (who can access projects/folders/files both through the web and via a Desktop Agent which integrates with Windows Explorer/MacOS Finder); you can have “connections” (e.g. clients and suppliers, who can be granted full web-only access to specific projects/folders/files, albeit with a nice multi-file uploader); but you can also set up read-only connections for anybody at all - either open to the general public or password-protected - so it’s an ideal platform for sending people large files without having to shove them through e-mail, or for storing things like manuals, papers, reference works etc. either for particular people to download or for general reference.
