I must be losing it. I completely forgot about the file linking although I used it a lot. I even used it to create an index of my most used files. I put the index in Window 9, and saved a configuration consisting of only that window, so I could always go to it.

I think your F5 command is called the “Document View.” I forgot about it as well.

One of the great GV features was the ability to redefine almost all key combinations. Another was the keyboard macros.

At one time, I told people that not only did I know GV better than my wife, but that I also spent more time with it than with her!
