I’m an old time user of DOS MaxThink and have (for many years now) been looking for a Windows program that I can use to efficiently store, outline, and think about information.

I downloaded Neil’s MaxThink for Windows yesterday, and found it lacking (even considering that it’s a beta (or even alpha) release).  Today, while perusing the web I ran across a program called Personal Knowbase (http://www.bitsmithsoft.com/).

The program seems promising and it has piqued my interest.  Personal Knowbase allows you to store information in “notes.”  These notes can be indexed by keywords (which you choose) and can also (but not necessarily) be placed in a tree-like category/sub-category system (like used in Jot+).

Like I said, I’m intersted in the software, but I’d like to get some feedback from some who have used the software before I invest any time in learning it.  So has anyone out-there used this program, and, if so, would you mind giving me your impressions?

Thanks!
