Alfred,

I tried looking for John Friend on http://www.google.com (a great search site), and all I could find was some lawsuit infighting between Symantec, Brown Bag, and maybe Living Videotext. Apparently someone thought outline (thinking) processors were worthy enough to sue over back in the 80’s!

If someone could write a program for Windows that equalled GrandView 2.0 in functionality, they wouldn’t need to update it as far as I am concerned. Windows takes care of printer drivers, so there aren’t many bells and whistles that would have to be added.

I may try a few other search engines (like Bigfoot) to try and locate John Friend. Unless he became a recluse like Bobby Fischer, he should be reachable, I hope.
