Yet PCO/DOS is WYSWYG, even if WYG is archaic.
After using the PCO/DOS command interface all these years it has become about as second nature to me as drag-and-drop.
Of course the learning curve to get here was steep and changing over from CP/M’s ThoughtLine was agony. Drag-and-drop should work about the same in any outliner so the cost of switching horses in midstream should be bearable.
By rights the outline metaphor should be supported at the O/S level by Windows, Mac and Linix, like file selection dialog boxes and editable text windows.
