Yes, that is a very important feature of NoteMap; Grandview had only an “Undo last delete”, and this applied only to subheadlines, not words, etc. But, although multiple undelete is a very helpful feature, I’d have liked them to have got the deleting and comments gliches “right” in the first place. By the time one finds one of those accidental deletions, one has often done a lot more work, especially if one has been jumping from place to place in an outline. Undoing and re-doing that work can be a real pain.

I must admit to a Grandview-centric perspective on outliners that colours my impressions of NoteMap. However, I think that it is questionable whether ways of doing things that are appropriate to word-processing are always applicable to outlining. 

Much of this is a matter of personal ways of working, though, and this is inevitably influenced by one’s particular past software experience.
