I used Calypso for quite some time and it was great. I never understood why they closed their doors. Rose City don’t see to be doing much. Its not that hard to find a good C++ programmer. I think its too late for them now. They might be better just to make it open source and see if they can build some enthusiasm that way.

I switched to The Bat! after Calypso. It is pretty good, but their documentation is poor and they keep adding features without fixing basic stuff. And the new features aren’t documented so you really don’t what they do. Nevertheless they are successful.

I’d realy like to switch to Thunderbird, but it doesn’t have some capabilities I can’t live without. I wish all the enthusiasm for Firefox would rub off a bit more on Thunderbird.
