I just came across a document describing how to use Nvivo, an analytical tool for qualitative data, to support production of literature reviews. Indeed, it looks quite appealing to me. However, Nvivo seems to be terribly expensive - 415 USD for a single license. Student licences are also availble - but they only work for 1 year (as far as I understand) !

Here is the pdf describing how to use Nvivo for literature reviews:
http://www.sdgassociates.com/downloads/literature_review.pdf

And here is the Nvivo site:
http://www.qsrinternational.com/products/productoverview/NVivo.htm

Has anybody here experiences with this or similar programs? Any knowledge about similar, cheaper programs?

Peter.
