I just discovered a note taking application I haven’t come across before. It’s called Citation 9, and it comes from thewritedirection.net.

It has a bibliographic manager and a note taking module. The notes are automatically linked to the present reference, and you can attach keywords and have the notes sorted according e.g. to these. You can print out a variety of lists etc., and it integrates with Word.

Apparently, the bibliographic manager can’t download references from web of science etc., which makes it of limited value to me. However, the note taking module looks interesting.

I couldn’t see that it has been discussed here before. Do anybody have experiences with this software? I stumbled over it when looking for a dated program Oberon Notebook II+.

Peter.
