I at one time used TakeNote!, and provided a testimonial for its web site.

About two years ago I sent the first in a series of emails to the company asking when it might update TakeNote! Not a single email was ever replied to.

I think there was a business arrangement between Academix and textbook publishing giant The Thomson Corporation (more than $8 billion in revenues in 2004) that allowed for TakeNote! to be bundled with software that accompanied some of Thomson’s text books.

One could perhaps query Thomson re TakeNote!
