If you want to get a feeling of the Autonomy technology then try this website:

Blinkx runs on Autonomy technology (it is an open secret) and provides a web search engine and a desktop search tool (both for free). I have tested the latter one but was a bit disappointed because the search results were not that good as expected. Further, the program is very limited regarding customization. But despite this all, this is just my opinion so give Blinkx a chance!
