I’ve been using LinkStash for a couple of years, Alex. I have found it to be very stable, and one can use it with any browser.

The company also produces a very nice clipboard extender called ClipCache. This is now morphing into a really useful tool. There was a problem with v2 when clipping very long extracts from the web, but that seems to have been sorted out with v3 (beta).

Since I use Zoot so much now I have less need for ClipCache, but it is well worth looking at.
